Kotobukiya has restocked its model kit of Jehuty from Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner. The plastic kit featuring the protagonist unit of Konami’s mecha franchise is now available again with a tax-inclusive MSRP of 6,600 yen (~$43.50). [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]

Even though Jehuty has been playable since the series’ first entry was released in 2001, the default coloring for this Orbital Frame model kit is based on The 2nd Runner sequel that originally came out on the PS2 in 2003. While Konami remastered both games for PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2012, it later worked with Cygames to release The 2nd Runner M∀RS as a further remaster for PS4 and PC in 2018.

Here are some sample images of the Jehuty model kit when it is completed:

The model kit has been available from as early as 2011. Kotobukiya had restocked the kit several times in prior years, but it got sold out not long after. The company announced the most recent restock in August 2023, with March 2024 as its new release window. With the new stocks available now, it managed to stay in the promised window without any delays.

Kotobukiya has been restocking its model kits based on mechs from video game franchises in recent months. The company previously confirmed restocks for Metal Gear REX, which will be available again in April 2024. It had also restocked model kits from the Armored Core series, which include the series’ most famous unit Nineball Seraph.

Jehuty will not be the only Zone of the Enders kit to get a restock. Kotobukiya has confirmed that it will also restock the model kit for the archnemesis Orbital Frame Anubis. The latter will be available in May 2024 at 9,680 yen (~$64).

The plastic model kit of Jehuty from Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner is back in stock and available to order again.
