It's more like a pamphlet. Just a few pages. These are the G2E 2022 Paulson Chips.

I’m surprised they discuss color matching. Because Paulson color matching is usually bad or very bad. I always kind of figured it was a “yeah we’ll give it a shot” kind of think, not an actual feature they offer.

Naw, I take that back. THC mold has a ring outside the hats, between the hats and the edge of the chip. None of these pictures do, except maybe the last chip on the last page.

First image on the second scan above is THC mold.

This image? While the hat and cane proportions look like THC, they definitely alternate direction like RHC.
And what’s with those rings? Is that inlay size?

We're gonna get some sad NAGB buyers if whoever makes it next time is recieving chips on this mold  :ROFLMAO: "Rings mold"

Cool product guide. Interesting there’s no mention of the THC mold at all. Do they not actively promote that mold anymore?

Did they not have any reference material for spot patterns?

Yeah, upon further inspection, I dunno  what that bastardization drawing is supposed to depict. Those rings do appear to correlate to inlay sizes, however (standard, grand, and giant).

My experience is that new orders must specifically ask for the older-style 39mm hat & cane design. They will provide mockups on the RHC mold by default.

Available edge spot patterns are provided during the ordering process.

Is the "value mold" with the denomination stamped into the chip a new thing? I haven't seen that before myself

Casino-specific variants have been used in New Jersey casinos for a long time. GPI started offering a generic version several years ago.

No mention of that 36mm mold that we've seen some tournament sets on, either. Good riddance to those little guys! But if GPI has actually stopped offering chips on the older THC molds, they can go shit in their hat.

I don't think I've ever seen a reference to the 36mm chips in any of these catalogs. Also THC isnt specificallt called out, think this is covered in a lot of threads if you use the search functionality.

I understand LCV/SCV and all that. But they mention and picture the roulette mold, they mention and picture the denom mold, they mention and picture custom house molds, and then they mention that their standard hat and cane chip is available in 39mm, 43mm, and 48mm sizes. They never mention or picture an alternate 39mm version. To be fair, they don't picture their 43 or 48mm versions either, so clearly they offer more products than they picture.
But if a company was looking to phase out a mold, they'd probably phase it out of their catalogs first, right?
