Back in July, we mentioned that
a proposed FX TV series adapted from the comic series written by Portland=based comics superstar,
and illustrated by Michael Avon Oeming.
So what happened with that?
reports that FX deciding to pass on another pilot called "Outlaw Country" could be good news for
making to the schedule. From the report:
"Powers" follows the adventures of a pair of detectives, Christian Walker and Deena Pilgrim, who investigate cases involving people with super powers. Jason Patric and Lucy Punch were cast in the pilot, which had a script by Charles H. Eglee ("The Shield") and Michael Dinner (executive producer of "Justified") directing.
On Twitter, Bendis reacted to the news, noting "the pilot was crazy expensive and very lovely and shows incredible potential for a long series," and the FX decision was encouraging.
