I had the opportunity to drop by and check out Tong Fu Ju Sichuan Restaurant, located a 5min walk away from Clarke Quay station!

We had the Crayfish + Grilled fish sichuan food buffet which was only 49.90 at a discounted price!

Do make sure yall book 2 days in advance for this buffet! This buffet is applicable for indoor dining only.

I cant lie im not a big spice eater (i only dare eat xiao la for mala 😭) so i was a lil scared of how spicy the food might be but i was pleasantly surprised bc the food wasnt that spicy - albeit as long as u pick the mild options.

Heres what we got + My honest ratings!

Garlic Crayfish: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A must get, the crayfish was so big n juicy! my first time trying crayfish and i rly enjoyed myself 🫶

Tomato Grilled fish: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I got the fish in special tomato sauce and it was soft and yummy, but i think the flavour was abit mild, might try the other flavours next time!

French Beans: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I couldn't stop munching on it HAHA, very yummy and different from how usual chinese restaurants cook french beans, Must try!

Egg fried rice: ⭐⭐⭐

Not bad but i think the other dishes outshined this dish, plus we were so full from everyth else that we couldnt finish the rice 😭

Mantou: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love mantou, this paired with the garlic sauce from the crayfish was 🤤🤤

Mapo Tofu:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Yummy and so soft

Fruit tea: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

HUGE, i can barely hold it let alone finish it...HAHA

It pairs very nicely with the flavourful dishes bc its q mild and not too sweet which i like!

Overall, you'll definitely not want to miss out on this super worth buffet! Will deffo come back again next time to try the other dishes! Extra thanks to my bf for being the designated crayfish peeler 😅🫶
