Sandra Oh is officially returning to TV and we could literally jump for joy. She's going to be a badass starring role in a new BBC spy thriller called Killing Eve. YASSSSS.

The Grey's Anatomy star has kept a low profile since she left the show two years ago, but this new dramatic thriller from Fleabagcreator Phoebe Waller-Bridge will see a whole new side to Sandra Oh. No longer will she be a mardy doctor (with a heart of gold), she will now play Eve, a bored security services operative "whose desk-bound job doesn't fulfil her fantasies of being a spy."

The eight-episode drama will revolve around a psychopathic assassin and the woman charged with hunting her down. The psychopathic assassin Villanelle is currently uncast. May we suggest Vicky McClure, Sheridan Smith or Lena Headey.
