Colouring in has really taken off in recent years and as well as being great for kids it’s now also popular with adults as a mindful activity.

From relatively simple and cartoonish Valentine’s coloring sheets for kids to colour in to more intricate Valentine’s coloring pages for adults, there’s something to help everyone feel the love!

These free Valentine’s Day coloring sheets can be used purely for some fun crafting time, or you can adjust the print size so that you can use them as Valentine’s cards (or alternatively just cut out elements to help you make your own custom cards). They’re also great for kids to colour in and give to friends or family… or just to keep them busy while parents are being romantic.

Our first pick in this list of Valentine’s Day coloring pages is a lovely illustration from Primary Games. Combining some sweet drawings of flowers, birds and butterflies with that most important of Valentine’s messages, it’s got it all!

Kids will love colouring in an A4 print of it, or adults could try printing it at an A5 size and use it as a Valentine’s card – you’ll have to concentrate to stay inside the lines though! We also think this would make a lovely gift if you framed it once you’ve coloured it in!

If you fancy using fonts to show how much you care, why not try these cute Valentine’s Day coloring pages by Vanessa Brady?

You’ll find a few different text based coloring-in designs on her website, but we particularly like this ‘I love everything about you’ printable. It’s easy to colour in with pens or pencils, but you could also get inspired by Vanessa and try painting your letters with watercolours!

The majority are simple kid-friendly designs, but there’s no reason that adults can’t enjoy love hearts and dinosaurs too. There are also five more detailed patterned designs to keep grown-ups busy too.

They have nine different Valentine’s coloring pages to download and print at home. Some of these are made up of multiple mini designs, such as mandalas, hearts and cartoon pictures. Others are larger images, like their ‘Why I love you’ poster or their Amagraph, a clever folding picture that shows two images when viewed from different angles.

Both kids and adults alike can enjoy their ‘reasons why I love you’ printable – this would make a great DIY Valentine’s card!
