Leo Burnett Mumbai gets Advertising Age recognition

Leo Burnett Mumbai has been ranked the 19th most creative office in the world according to Advertising Age's Creativity which features a list of the most creative agencies in the world, in 2008.

The points have been calculated by adding up all the awards won by each agency at international award shows in the year 2007-2008. Leo Burnett has scored 180 points. It is, interestingly, the only Indian agency office to have made it to the list.

Leo Burnett won various awards last year at award shows such as Cannes, Asia Pacific Adfest, Media Spikes, Andy Awards, D&AD, Clio and Art Directors Club. Some of the work that won includes P&G's Tide, Perfetti's Creamfills Extra, Reliance Mobile, Heinz' Complan, Glucon D, Heinz Tomato Ketchup and Luxor Highlighters.

Arvind Sharma (pictured), CEO, Leo Burnett said, "Leo Burnett's India offices have traditionally been rated as some of the most creative in the network several times over. So while the news of being ranked 19th in the world is huge for the region, this star turn was almost predicted by the network years in advance."

"The ideas that have got us this glory have one thing in common. Our HumanKind approach," added KV Sridhar, national creative director, Leo Burnett.
