WD - Black 1TB Internal SATA Hard Drive for Laptops

Western Digital has a good line of hard discs. This fit perfectly in my rugged laptop. 1 T is enough to do most things I want to do.

Swapped out the 500 GB drive in my HP zBook laptop for this 1 TB drive for extra storage space at a reasonable price. I'm very happy with my purchase. Now I have lots of storage space for my video files.

So far no problems. It was easy to install in my ASUS laptop and is faster than the old one it replaced.

Need To expanded storage capability that offers dependable performance and ample storage space for files my old Drive was 750gb at 5400

So far I have had no problems with this hard drive, It holds lots of memory and was a great price for the amount of room it holds.

This hard drive is fast and large enough to store a multitude of files. It was also a breeze to install.

Western Digital has supposedly improved their drives, although the only failures I've had using WD have been when I've accidentally dropped them on a cement floor. By contrast, I've had other brands suffer hard drive failures after 6-24 months, usually after heavy access activities. Since larger capacity drives have 1 TB platters, the single platter 1TB seems to offer more stable performance and less power consumption reduced over multi platter drives. Compared to my older 750GB 5900 blue WD drive, this ran much cooler. Can't compare SSD in terms of speed but more than adequate space and much cheaper.

I bought this to increase the speed and performance of my dell latitude e4310 laptop .
