The new Ferrari Enzo, or F70, is getting closer and close to becoming almost as untouchable as it is now when it is a secret project (its price tag will make sure of this) and now that vehicle has made a huge step towards our hearts, as it has been spied during a test session in the Prancing Horese’s home town, Maranello.
The two adjacent images, which come from Greg23 at FerrariChat, allow us to see what seems to be an Enzo test mule, with the vehicle looking stunning. Of course, to say that the vehicle is covered in heavy camouflage would be a major understatement, but the idea that Ferrari will go to great lengths when designing the vehicle has been reinforced now that that we’ve seen the images.
The only design detail that is known so far is the shape of the rear window, which, as James Glickenhaus has let it slip, will be similar to that on his P4/5 Competizione. As for what will power the vehicle, earlier media reports indicate that Ferrari will use a petrol engine delivering up to 800 hp (our money are on a V12), which will be assisted by around 100 electric horses.
