Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Little Stars of City Child by Aya Takano was sold in the Contemporary Art Asia: Hong Kong Edition auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. The price achieved of HKD 7,500.00 (€ 846.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aya Takano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sweetness In The Dark (Painted In 2009) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 420,000.00 (€ 428,902.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Little Stars of City Child von Aya Takano wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: Hong Kong Edition bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 7.500,00 (€ 846,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aya Takano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sweetness In The Dark (Painted In 2009) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 420.000,00 (€ 428.902,17).
