Everybody gather around, there's a new hot Internet crush in town. And guess what? It's a clown — and not just any clown. Namely, Pennywise the evil clown monster from the horror movie It. Yes, you read that right.

If you somehow missed it, It, currently in theaters, is based on Stephen King's novel of the same name. Basically, the star of the show is a monster that takes the form of a clown named Pennywise, complete with razor-sharp teeth and bulbous head, who lurks in the sewers, terrorizing a group of children in a small town.

Sounds terrifying, right? Here's the thing though: Bill Skarsgård, who plays that monster, is pretty good-looking IRL. And now, somehow, people think that Pennywise — like the actual character with the white and red face makeup and the teeth and the reseeding hairline — is also crush-worthy. Yup.

That said, even Skarsgård is like "nah" when asked if we should find Pennywise the clown attractive. He told a reporter, "I don't know if I'm very hot in the film, I hope not. I have my weird quirks and weird looks in real life as well and I just kind of try to, exemplify and make them bigger in the movie." Still, this video of Skarsgård doing Pennywise's signature creepy smile without his clown makeup might just turn you from a Skarsgård stan to a Pennywise stan...or it might completely ruin your love for the actor.

Fans of the movie are posting on Twitter their unnatural attraction to Pennywise. Some are openly declaring their love, while others are just confused about these...unexpected feelings. See below for some very conflicted reactions.
