General Information:
A medium-sized, evergreen tree with a dense crown, capable of growing up to 30 meters tall. Belongs to the family Myrtaceae.
Native to Southeast Asia, including India, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, and Indonesia.
Leaves are widely used in Indonesia for flavoring in food. Edible fruit with a slightly astringent pulp.
Tree with a cylindrical to oval crown, greyish-brown twigs, and grey flaky bark.
Suitable as a roadside tree, fast-growing, with attractive tree crowns and flowers.
