Gosling

Gosling stole the hearts of a generation when he starred as the earnest Noah Calhoun in “The Notebook,” but he entranced an even wider audience with his recent comedic turn in Greta Gerwig’s summer mega-blockbuster “Barbie.” From the line “My job is just beach” to the “I’m Just Ken” musical number — which put the actor on the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time — his scene-stealing moments were plentiful, and many fans are rooting for the actor in this season’s awards nominations. Next up, Gosling will star with Emily Blunt in David Leitch’s action thriller “The Fall Guy,” based on the 1980s television series of the same name. And to start off 2024, he’ll be feted with the Santa Barbara International Film Festival’s 16th Kirk Douglas Award for being a “dramatic and comedic force” on the big screen.
