Ada Choi wants husband to remarry if she dies

11 Jun – Hong Kong actress Ada Choi is very realistic when it comes to love, saying that she will expect her husband to remarry if she died before him.

As reported on HK01, in the latest episode of the mainland show, "My Dearest Ladies", Ada said that she found herself being more fearful since becoming a mother.

"Every time I had to board a plane, I will tell [my husband] Max that he has to take care of our daughters if I don't make it home. I also told him that it would be fine if he remarries," she said.

When fellow co-star Christy Chung expressed surprise that Ada was nonchalant about such a thing, the actress said that she is realistic about the facts of life.

"Romance is not the most important thing in a marriage. It should be about trust, cooperation and responsibility. When a person remarries, it isn't always about love. Marriage will only work if you put the time and effort," she said.
