The Transporter Refueled is now set to open September 4 in the United States.

EuropaCorp has pushed back the action flick two and half months, according to Variety. The Transporter Refueled was previously slated to hit the silver screen June 19. But this isn't the first time The Transporter Refueled's release date has moved as at one point the film was scheduled to come out in February.

Starring Ed Skein (Game of Thrones), Loan Chabanol, Radivoje Bukvic and Gabriella Wright, The Transporter Refueled is the start of a new trilogy in the series. And EuropaCorp believes the September release date will allow for the cast to better promote the action flick, with the company pointing out that the first three films also came out during the same time period too.

Camille Delamarre is directing The Transporter Refueled, with a script by Bill Collage and Adam Cooper. With the new release date, the film will go up against Jane Got a Gun, Kitchen Sink and No Escape.
