How to Play

Fill in the missing numbers of the grid. Numbers cannot repeat in any row, column, or 3 x 3 square.

• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
  • Choose a difficulty level to play:
    • Easy
    • Medium
    • Hard
    • Very Hard
    • Insane
    • Inhuman
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Adding numbers
      • Left click on a cell.
      • Left click on a number
    • Adding guesses
      • Left click on a cell.
      • Left click on the add button to activate note mode.
      • While in note mode, left click on the possible numbers you think should occupy that cell.
    • Erasing
      • Left click on the cell.
      • Left click on the delete button.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers and use it as a mouse.
  • Controls and indicators
    • Top row, from left:
      • Back button: Returns you to the welcome screen
      • Timer and difficulty level
      • Speaker button: Lets you turn the game’s audio on and off
      • Pause button: Temporarily stops the timer
    • Bottom row, above, from left:
      • Help button: Shows the game’s tutorial
      • Add button: Allows you to put notes on the cells
      • Solve button: Ends the game by solving the puzzle

  • The rules of sudoku
    • Your goal is to fill every row, column and 3 x 3 grid on the field with the numbers 1 through 9.
    • No numeral must repeat in any of the rows, columns or 3×3 grid squares.
    • Use context to identify the location of the missing numbers.
  • Difficulty and hints
    • The fewer the starting numbers of a sudoku puzzle are, the harder it is to solve.
    • You can use the hints button to show you some more numbers.
      • You only have 5 hints for the entire game. Use them wisely.
      • We recommend using hints when you’re stuck with a cell that has 2 possible answers.
  • Tips
    • Fortunately, you can write your guesses as notes to keep track of your guesses
      • Use the note tool to add the possible numbers something could be in the space provided.
      • To remove a note, turn off the note tool and superimpose the correct answer on it.
    • From there, it becomes a process of elimination.
