Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin is denying Brazilian reports that he is to marry a beauty queen on the French Riviera later this month.
Brazilian gossip site Glamurama reported he was to marry Miss Singapore Universe 2009 Rachel Kum at the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat Four Seasons on June 27. It was reported that Saverin had previously invested in her makeup company Rachel K Cosmetics.
But Tom Goodman, a spokesman for Brazilian-born Saverin, said, “He has never dated Miss Singapore, and never invested in her company. He is not marrying her. ”
Mr Goodman declined to comment further on the report that Saverin had booked out the entire Grand-Hôtel du Cap for a big event, adding, “We will not discuss what is happening. We do not comment on his private life.”
Saverin, 33, who lives in Singapore after renouncing his US citizenship in 2012, is worth $5.1 billion, according to Forbes.
