Last week, after mowing the lawn, my son and I jumped into our pool to cool off. We lay quietly, floating on our backs, taking in the soft evening light that washed over the sky. It was peaceful and beautiful — I could have stayed there forever. After a few minutes we noticed the flying foxes (fruit bats) soaring overhead.
