Hong Kong actress Ada Choi Siu-fan (蔡少芬) has always been well-loved by her fans. As such, its no surprise that they are currently clamouring over her health after they spotted a certain feature in her looks.
Ada Choi recently reappeared in a public event in Hong Kong, much to the delight of her fans. However, sharp-eyed netizens discovered she had diagonal earlobe crease (DELC) which indicates a high chance of a heart disease, which worried many.
The 50-year-old actress has been working on developing her career in China in recent years. However just last year, they moved back to Hong Kong from Shanghai, reportedly because her children are studying there. Ada has also not been available to film as she’s concerned about being away from her kids for too long but still loves acting.
While fans were delighted to see Ada in public, several took the opportunity to share their concerns with her about her health. They pointed out the creases in her ears, otherwise known as diagonal earlobe crease (DELC) which indicate a high chance of heart diseases.
“Please take note of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases!” one chirped at her. “Please make sure to rest.” Another promptly told her: “It is said that ear creases (can) indicate heart problems.” Others however also praised Ada’s looks, especially her new hairstyle.
Reportedly, according to a study published in the American Journal of Forensic Medicine and Pathology, up to 80% of heart disease patients under the age of 40 have DELC. Allegedly, the deeper the crease, the higher the chance of one suffering from heart disease.
Well, we’re glad to see Ada Choi is still doing well for herself. We sincerely hope she continues to look after herself and hope to see more works form her soon!
