What other word can you use to describe Manta Rays but graceful. With a wing span of some 3.5 metres across, these ocean giants are known for the gentle way in which they glide through the water. Mesmerising as they move in a dancing fashion in ‘trains’ as they come together to feed and mate. An underwater ballet that is an absolute dream to behold.

This large piece celebrates this marine animal in a monochrome way designed to focus on the beautiful shape of their wings. Using a dark indigo only on a pure white backdrop has utilised my skill with paint to enable this piece to be at once crisp and defined, whilst feeling quite loose and flowing. It is a deep and solid colour that will enhance most interior spaces.
