Graitec’s PowerPack for Autodesk Advance Steel allows users to model railings with infill glass panels in detail, down to the glass clamp fixings.

Similar to other railing parts, catalogue glass clamps defined as solids are imported as special parts inside the macro through the Special Part Manager tool.

Typically, a glass clamp fitting covers a specific range of glass panel thickness, as defined by the producer:

The range of glass panel thickness can be defined inside the Special parts manager, for every fixing in the Glass Clamps category:

Note:
In order to update the macro with the changes made in the Special parts manager, an update trigger is required within the macro itself (for this example - go to the Connections tab and cycle between two supplier options). This issue has been reported and a resolution is being planned for a future release.

Once this internal reinitialization is done, go to Infill - PropertiesGeneral tab: the Panel thickness drop-down list is now updated with the changes done inside the SP Manager and the desired thickness can be chosen:
